Our Vocational trainings

Mechatronics engineer (m/f/d)

We are a medium-sized company and offer individual solutions for the power supply of industrial production facilities and energy suppliers worldwide. Our product spectrum ranges from project planning and production of medium-voltage and low-voltage switchgear to CONTROL ENGINEERING and sophisticated SERVICESOur team at the Immendingen site currently has around 65 employees working in the areas of sales and project management as well as materials management, production, logistics and service.

A switchgear and controlgear is a distributor for electrical energy. Simply put, it is the big brother of a sub-distributor (fuse box) that you find in your home, only a little bigger. To make it a little clearer for you, here is a small comparison:

A “normal” socket in your house is usually protected with 16 amps. In a switchgear and controlgear there are so-called fuse disconnectors that serve the same purpose, but these are used for large machines or production lines. Since much more energy is needed here, these have a maximum current of between 125 amps and 630 amps. As I said, everything is simply “a little” bigger.

Three-year Dual Vocational College in Electronics (Mechatronics)

Dual form of the three-year vocational college in electronics (mechatronics). Students spend three days a week in the company and two days a week at school.

The content of the dual vocational college in electronics focuses on systems and equipment technology that satisfies the requirements of mechatronics.
In addition to the full vocational training of three years, the pupil acquires the additional qualification of a state-certified, graduated vocational pupil.

Successful completion of the vocational college makes it possible to train as a technician with a shortened training period of two years.

In addition, he or she can take the examination for the advanced technical college entrance qualification through additional instruction.

A change from the 3-year dual vocational college to the regular mechatronics apprenticeship is possible up to halfway through the 2nd year of the apprenticeship.
